RECIPE: Almond Java Protein Shake

Feeling exhausted after your workout? This protein shake will replenish your body and get you back in tune with your day.

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon of almond butter
  • 1 banana
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or agave)
  • double shot of your favourite espresso (you could also use a small portion of strong dark coffee)
  • 1 scoop of your favourite protein powder (I use Sunwarrior Warrior Blend)
  • dash of cinnamon
